humanos, promueve la conservaci\u00f3n al generar beneficios econ\u00f3micos, protege los h\u00e1bitats y, en general, sienta las bases para la protecci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad. El ecoturismo, en particular el turismo de naturaleza, es uno de los segmentos del turismo de m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido crecimiento, y puede tener impactos tanto positivos como negativos en las \u00e1reas naturales que quedan. Un paisaje que hab\u00eda sido arrasado casi por completo, en gran parte por la agricultura y la producci\u00f3n de madera, hoy, 40 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, presume de uno de los PIB m\u00e1s altos de Am\u00e9rica Latina y de cerca del 5 % de la biodiversidad del mundo.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-1e3e4d19 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1e3e4d19\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-2c6240d7\" data-id=\"2c6240d7\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10f4d12f de_scroll_animation_no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10f4d12f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unos a\u00f1os y unos cuantos pa\u00edses despu\u00e9s, ya fuera caminando entre cafetales y conversando con peones de rancho en la Sierra Madre de Chiapas, o viendo los efectos de las plantaciones de palma aceitera en la Amazon\u00eda colombiana, no sabr\u00eda decir en qu\u00e9 momento se afianz\u00f3 la convicci\u00f3n. En alg\u00fan punto de mis viajes se hizo evidente que, cuando las comunidades locales se ven obligadas a elegir entre la comida en el plato de su familia y las pr\u00e1cticas ambientales sostenibles, lo segundo se vuelve m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de valorar. Preocuparse por la conservaci\u00f3n del mundo natural es una actitud que se ense\u00f1a y se adopta, y es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil dedicarle la vida cuando todas tus necesidades est\u00e1n cubiertas.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e637d9 de_scroll_animation_no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e637d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al fundar EcologyByAnderson, sent\u00ed que era incre\u00edblemente importante tener un impacto positivo en los paisajes que visitaba, procurando ofrecer a las comunidades alejadas de las rutas tur\u00edsticas m\u00e1s oportunidades en el ecoturismo regenerativo, la sostenibilidad y el desarrollo empresarial a largo plazo.
